Due to boredom I stumbled upon a folder full of my friend’s pictures that I shot a year ago and so I decided to tweak a certain pic that I liked. =) Actually, I haven’t opened or used Photoshop for quite sometime now~ Haha I don’t know why, but it’s just that I’ve been too lazy these days. Haha! Anyways, hope she’ll like what I did with this. ^_^

This is so late nah but still, I decided to post this one up cause this was my very first time to help my cousin make 160 red velvet cupcakes for a friend’s wedding which was so memorable and fun for me. Dami noh?haha Everybody in the house helped in every little way possible cause we had to rush everything cause the couple arrived way to early to pick it up.



Now it’s ready to be baked!hehe
Too bad I couldn’t share with you the recipe for this one cause my cousin only got the recipe from the pastry department of the hotel he works for. ;( But anyways, don’t worry cause I’ll try to post a red velvet recipe soon!=)


Tadaah~ hehe It was moist, soft and has a well-balance flavor that leaves you wanting for more!^_^

Whipped up some cream cheese frosting for the cupcakes~


Then finally, placed it small cute gold boxes with burgundy-colored bows to compliment the couples’ chosen theme for the wedding. ^_^

It’s been a long time since I wrote something here in tumblr and I’m kinda sad at the same time happy and excited while making this entry. After several months of waiting, finally, I’m leaving for Switzerland this March!: ) It’s kinda sad coz I’ll be going there alone but at the same time I’m totally excited for what seems to be one of the greatest adventures I have to face in my life. I know that most of my mum’s siblings and their respective families live there but knowing the fact that I’ll be away from my own family and friends for awhile for the first time somehow makes me feel sad. But then just like what my mum always tell me and my brothers, that it’s just the way how life goes, that a person at a certain point in time has to lead his/her own journey in life, and that one should not be afraid to get out from his/her comfort zone coz it’s during these moments that you could learn and enjoy life the most. : ) I know that I’m very very lucky to be able to experience something like this and I hope that after this journey with God’s guidance I could come back as a better person willing to face more challenges life could offer. Tadaaaah!~Here’s the tuna kimbap I just made~ >.<
I followed this video tutorial by themodchef in youtube~ This one’s really a simple step by step way in making TUNA KIMBAP~ >.< So, what’s kimbap??=)
Gimbap or kimbap is a popular korean dish made from steamed white rice (bap) and various other ingredients, rolled in gim and served in bite-size slices.Gimbap is often eaten during picnics or outdoor events, or as a light lunch, served with danmuji or kimchi. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gimbap)
What you need:
kim/gim (sheets of dried laver seaweed)
pickled radish
rice
sesame oil
sesame seeds
sesame leaves (I used spinach instead. Boil first spinach then after remove water then add a little sesame oil and a pinch of salt.)
1 can of tuna
mayonnaise
salt
*I also added julienned carrots for some color. (Sauté first the julienned carrots before using.)
